Respond to a request with an offer

Renters post what they need. If you have it, make an offer: your price, your deposit, your availability. No back-and-forth.

In short

  • Open a live request and tap Respond with an offer.
  • Pick one of your listings, or list something new on the spot.
  • Set a price for this request (from $5/day), a deposit and a note. Submit offer.
  • One offer per request. You can withdraw it and offer again.

Step by step

  1. Find a request

Tap the Requests tab to see what neighbours are asking for. You will also get a notification when a request matches something you have listed. Open one.

  2. Tap Respond with an offer

The button appears on any live request that is not your own and that you have not already answered.

  3. Pick the item

Under My listings choose the matching item. Do not have it listed yet? Switch to List new and enter a title, suburb, address, price and deposit right there. You can add photos afterwards.

  4. Set your terms

Adjust Your availability for this request if needed. Set Your price for this request; it can differ from your listing price and starts at $5 a day. Check the Security deposit, add a short Note to renter, and tap Submit offer.

  5. Wait for the pick

The renter sees your offer alongside any others and chooses one. You will be notified either way. If they choose you, the booking appears under Bookings and chat opens to arrange the handover.

What makes an offer win

One offer at a time. You can have one active offer per request. If you change your mind, withdraw it and submit a new one.
